The Joka’s Wild, launched in 2004, is a custom aluminum yacht designed and built on the Mississippi Gulf Coast by its captain, George Pelaez, Jr. The Joka’s Wild is United States coast Guard Certified to carry 48 passengers, with overnight accommodations for twelve. The Joka, as we call her, boasts 2 brand new Caterpillar engines and 2 diesel generators, making fishing on her an ultimate experience. You and a partner will share a 14’ fiberglass skiff with a Yamaha 15hp outboard motor to navigate the flats and find those large speckled trout and reds. The skiffs are ready for you to board each morning, complete with full fuel tanks and all safety equipment required by the USCG.

Relax in the main salon with warm oak paneled walls and oak flooring. The salon is well appointed, with two oversized leather sofas, a flat screen TV with DVD Player and VCR and stereo system. Others may enjoy our back deck area, with wet bar set-up, ice makers, surround stereo, as well as tables and chairs.

The Joka has a state-of-the-art, open galley with stainless steel appliances. You will dine in comfort at our large banquet table with nearby coffee bar. While aboard, you’ll enjoy hearty breakfasts of eggs, bacon, cereal, and fruit. Lunches are usually a local favorite of fried fish and red beans and rice, along with cold cuts and sandwiches. Dinners on the Joka are a culinary delight! You’ll feast on Prime Rib, Shrimp Spaghetti, Shrimp Alfredo, or Seafood Gumbo.

Staterooms in the Joka house 2 twin-size bunk beds and a small dressing area with 110 outlets. Below are two large bathrooms with full showers.
